Home Support Worker

Our support workers can assist with grooming, bathing, meal preparation, laundry, feeding, light housekeeping and any help you need around the house. If necessary, they can be available 24/7.

Companionship

Our companion team provides medication reminders, help with reading, accompaniment to recreational activities, hair appointments, groceries, and will engage clients in interactive and healthy activities such as board games, cards and puzzles.

Dementia/Respite workers

Our dementia/respite team are trained staff who can provide temporary relief to family members and caregivers of persons suffering from Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. We understand that as cognitive losses progress it can become difficult for a person to express their likes, dislikes and interests. Also, decreased opportunities for social interaction can result in more potentially challenging behaviours. Our dementia and respite staff undergo intense training and workshops on effective strategies to improve the communication and overall wellbeing of individuals living with dementia.
